IBM want a personal gTLD

IBM, the famous IT company, showed interest in turn against the new gTLDs, thinking to do request to ICANN to obtain an extension through its relative forum dedicated to the demands and guide to obtain the extensions.

As written on the Forum, IBM is happy that there are no specific obligations for the period sunrise, as there would sense if applied on a TLD used for the purposes of a single company, not for sale for the public and takes note of the fact that there are not yet obligations for the choice of a Registrar.

In the future, probably, will we see some web sites of the company that will be using the gTLD .IBM

At the time, the only other company that made formal request is Canon, which wants to obtain the TLD .canonSource URL: https://linuxname.blogspot.com/2010/07/ibm-want-personal-gtld.html
